Position: Sales Operations/Inside Sales Admin

Dossia is seeking an energetic and professional Sales Operations Admin to assist the VP of Sales & Business Development with sales operations, lead qualification and data management. This role will have an administrative component which will require the incumbent to have experience supporting a VP or sales manager with day-to-day operations.

Position Description

The successful candidate will have sales ops or pre-sales lead qualification / inside sales experience and be able to work in an administrative role. This person must have superior phone skills, mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, and be comfortable making outbound sales qualification calls. Experience working with Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM system is a plus but is not mandatory. Knowledge/experience within the HR, health benefits, insurance or healthcare industry is also a beneficial attribute for this candidate but is not required.

Primary Responsibilities

This individual’s primary responsibilities will be:

  • Salesforce.com Administration – will be responsible for the data management administrative and reporting functions inherent to Salesforce.com
  • Telesales/Inside Sales – outbound cold calling / calling on targeted lead lists to qualify leads, generate demos, appointments and meetings within the Enterprise (large employer) market. Experience calling into the C-Suite, VP, Director levels of large corporations is desired.
  • Tradeshow support – occasional travel (10%) may be required to support tradeshow and related marketing activity
  • RFP/Proposal tracking, management and administration.
  • Outlook calendar experience and the ability to make travel arrangements, maintain and track expenses for sales staff

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Past health benefits industry experience, healthcare or insurance related sales ops experience are a plus. Salesforce.com experience is beneficial but not required. Extensive lead qualification experience also desired, specifically selling software, web-enabled solutions or consulting services.
