On loan from Intel where he provides legal support to Intel’s Digital Health Group, Daniel is acting General Counsel for Dossia managing all legal aspects of the Consortium and its affiliates and prospective subsidiaries. Daniel concurrently is Dossia’s elected Corporate Secretary managing primary organizational aspects of the Consortium. Daniel also has been appointed head of Dossia’s Legal Work Group (a group comprised of one attorney from each of the Founders’ organizations and which acts as an advisory board to the legal aspects of Dossia).
Daniel has a MBA from Oxford University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah, and bachelors degrees from Brigham Young University. He has been with Intel for eight years (three of which managing a legal team of nine transnational attorneys in Intel’s EMEA region). Prior to joining Intel, Daniel was acting General Counsel and Corporate Security for FTV Communications, a consortium of three Fortune 500 companies installing fiber optics and managing telecommunications systems. While laboring with FTV, Daniel worked for The Williams Companies as its western U.S. attorney supporting telecommunications and technology initiatives. Daniel has also worked in litigation in private practice (including working as a administrative law judge for healthcare hospital privilege fair hearings), and was a judicial extern in the 10th Circuit.
