Monica Foster serves as vice president of benefits for $91 billion Cardinal Health, a global provider of products and services that improve the safety and productivity of health care.
In her current position, she is responsible for developing and administering health and welfare plans, employee financial plans, healthy lifestyles and work-life effectiveness programs to serve the company’s 40,000 employees, worldwide.
Foster joined Cardinal Health in 1997, and has since held various positions of increasing responsibility within the company’s human resources and finance organizations.
Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Foster spent several years in the brokerage industry with Hazlett, Burt & Watson, National City Investments & Mellon Bank.
Foster is a member of the National Business Group on Health, and serves on the board of directors for Dossia, an independent, secure, non-profit infrastructure for gathering and securely storing information for lifelong health records. She attended Ohio University and Franklin University, has earned Series 7 and Series 63 financial certification and is also a Certified Equity Professional (CEP).
