Vice President, Sales and Business Development

Dossia is looking for a highly motivated VP of Sales and Business Development to support our healthcare technology initiatives.

Position Description

Dossia Service Corporation is on the verge of significant growth and requires a highly talented person who can:

  • Manage customer relationships and understand the complexities of the healthcare environment from several perspectives – provider, patient, payer, and employer
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing programs in a healthcare software and services environment
  • Operate in a rapidly evolving industry environment and be able to navigate and establish value with the "C" level decision makers
  • Contribute to the overall success of business development and growth of revenue.
  • Demonstrate strong consultative, proven strategic selling abilities and be able to interact with company executives and other team members.
  • Develop relationships with application providers and identify key application needs and gaps for the Dossia member community.

FLSA Status: Exempt.

Primary Responsibilities

Essential duties for this position include:

  • Lead company sales, founder recruitment, and business development.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy.
  • Lead company outreach to stakeholders and policy makers.
  • Develop sales systems and track sales and marketing activity against goals.

Qualifications

Dossia Service Corporation is looking for a senior individual to join the leadership team to help drive the next wave of expansion. This person will need to be familiar with the US healthcare sector and will have experience in the development and sales of software and services. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of healthcare IT systems, employer wellness programs, and personal health technology and systems.

Dossia is a small and nimble organization and the successful candidate will be able to achieve results, initially, as an individual leader in a small team of people getting their hands dirty to create and execute opportunities.

Extensive Travel is required for this position.

This position is located at our offices in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA. Candidates from other locations may also be considered.
